Welcome to Bagel King School Lunch. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our online lunch ordering system. By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

About Our Service

Bagel King School Lunch provides online meal ordering for participating schools, including:

  • Park Maitland School North Campus
  • Park Maitland School South Campus

Our goal is to provide a simple, reliable ordering experience for parents while ensuring accurate meal preparation and delivery for students.

Account Registration

Parents or legal guardians must create an account before placing lunch orders.

You agree to provide accurate and current information, including:

  • Parent or guardian name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Student name
  • Grade level
  • Allergy or dietary information
  • Any additional information required for order fulfillment

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Ordering

Orders may be placed at any time before the published ordering deadline.

To ensure accurate meal preparation and delivery, all new orders, cancellations, and order changes must be submitted by 12:00 AM (midnight) on the day meals are served.

After this deadline, orders are considered final and our kitchen begins preparing meals based on the submitted order counts.

Refunds and Credits

Refund requests submitted before the ordering deadline will generally be accommodated whenever possible.

Requests made after the ordering deadline are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Bagel King may, at its sole discretion, issue:

  • A refund
  • A meal credit
  • No refund or credit

Factors we may consider include student illness, school absence, emergency situations, or other extenuating circumstances.

Payments

Payments are securely processed through PayPal.

Bagel King does not store or have access to your credit card or bank account information.

For accounting and customer support purposes, we retain only payment confirmation details such as PayPal transaction IDs and order records.

Allergy Information

Parents are responsible for providing complete and accurate allergy and dietary information for each student when placing an order.

Bagel King makes reasonable efforts to communicate allergy information and prepare meals with care. However, all food is prepared in a commercial kitchen where cross-contact with allergens may occur.

Our kitchen may handle or contain ingredients including, but not limited to:

  • Milk

  • Eggs

  • Wheat

  • Soy

  • Peanuts

  • Tree nuts

  • Fish

  • Shellfish

  • Sesame

Because of shared preparation areas, equipment, and ingredients, we cannot guarantee that any meal is completely free of allergens or cross-contact.

Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether a menu item is appropriate for their child’s dietary needs. If you have questions regarding ingredients or allergens, please contact us before placing an order.

Menus are subject to change due to product availability, supplier shortages, seasonal ingredients, or other circumstances beyond our control.

When practical, we may substitute comparable menu items.

School Closures

If school is closed because of weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen events, Bagel King may issue refunds or meal credits at its discretion.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Provide false information
  • Use another person’s account
  • Attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the website
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose

Limitation of Liability

Bagel King strives to provide a reliable online ordering experience. However, we are not responsible for delays, interruptions, or the inability to access or use our website resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete information submitted by parents or guardians

  • Orders placed after published deadlines

  • School schedule changes or closures

  • Delivery delays caused by weather or other unforeseen events

  • Internet service provider interruptions

  • Temporary outages involving PayPal or other third-party service providers

  • Problems related to a user’s internet connection, mobile device, computer, browser, operating system, or software settings

  • Unsupported, outdated, or incompatible web browsers or devices

  • A user’s failure to create an account, log in successfully, or follow the ordering process as instructed

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure compatibility with current versions of major web browsers and mobile devices, we cannot guarantee that the website will function correctly on every device, browser, or software configuration.

If you experience technical difficulties before an ordering deadline, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible so we can assist.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bagel King’s total liability for any claim relating to the use of this website or the lunch ordering service shall not exceed the amount paid for the affected order.
